Often called the perfect perennial, the daylily comes in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.  They take very little care in a wide range of climates and are suitable for almost any yard.  They are drought tolerant and have relatively few pest and disease problems.
Not only do the colors vary, but the bloom size and texture changes with each variety. There are single blooms, double blooms, spider flowers forms and more.  Each of these can be a single color, have a colored throat or be multi colored.  These many differences allow for a huge variety available to plant in your garden.
One of the most popular varieties you will see throughout Hinsdale is Happy Returns, a beautiful yellow daylily.
