Heuchera is an easy way to add color and texture to your garden.  They are mostly known for their colorful and unique foliage which come in a variety of colors and shapes.  They grow in mounds of colorful leaves and sprout tall flowers in the spring that are typically in shades of pink and white.
Heuchera are low maintenance as long as they’re planted in the right conditions.  They need well drained soil and to be kept moist, usually watered once a week.  The more sun they get, the more often they will need water.  To help keep the soil moist during the hot summer months, mulch around the base of the plant.
